Jack Morton Design, together with Jim Landy and the engineering team at MLB Network, executed this emmy-award winning set build from the ground up. Designers, fabricators and the team at MLBN worked together to build this custom new television station that included two multi-purpose tv studios and control rooms. Architectural features include a multi-tiered, curved Plexiglas walkway, a rotating main anchor platform and a 35 x 7-foot rear projection wall. Jim Landy sourced, supplied and installed the AV equipment, control room displays, set displays and control system and Jim Grimes trained network staff on operation and maximizing air performance. AVDS continues today to deliver a comprehensive maintenance plan for ongoing successful network operation.

Testimonial: Jim Landy, Ross Karadjov & Jim Grimes have worked with us since we began building the MLB Network studios in 2008, leading up to the network’s launch on January 1, 2009. From supplying our AV tech to maintaining our equipment, we’ve only had good experiences with their group. They’ve always been there when we’ve called and they continue to grow with us as the network expands. We are glad to partner with them for our studio equipment and maintenance needs.
